About our Logo
Our Logo

The logo of the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages is an artistic rendering of people gathered together and represents the relationship between New Brunswick's linguistic communities. It also represents the principles upon which the Office has been created, principles that are found in the preamble to the Official Languages Act.

Those of us who speak English and those of us who speak French live, work and play together and our respective languages have equal status, rights and privileges in New Brunswick. Wearers of this emblem are signifying their pride in our history as well as their commitment to fostering strong and meaningful relations between English-speaking and French-speaking people in our province. It is a snapshot of the present as well as a vision of the future.

Please note that the articles and news releases in the Newsroom section are available only in the language in which they were published or distributed.
